A murder investigation has been launched in Co Waterford after the death of a 90-year-old man at his home over the weekend.

Paddy Lyons was found dead at his home in Ballysaggart near Lismore, Co Waterford on Saturday by a neighbour.

Gardai are looking for two people, a man and a woman, who raised the alarm at a house in the area at around 4.30pm on Saturday to come forward.

Gardai are now trying to piece together Paddy Lyons last movements 

Superintendent Mick Lacey from Dungarvan Garda Station says this is now a murder inquiry.
