Detectives in Belfast have launched a murder hunt after a body was found in the early hours of this morning

Emergency services were called around 1am amid reports of a young man lying at Glasvey Close in the West of the city.

Ambulance staff pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police say a number of injuries were found on the body.

The PSNI has issued an appeal for information.
