A new phase of the banking inquiry - that will see former politicians called to give evidence - gets underway this morning.
NAMA executives will appear before it today as it focuses on the bank guarantee, and why that decision was arrived at in September 2008.
NAMA will answer questions about how they came to take billions in loans from the major banks.
The inquiry will also hear from former politicians such as Brian Cowen and Charlie McCreevy and the former governor of the central bank.
