The Central Bank is releasing special collector's coins to commemorate the 1916 Rising.

Gold and silver coins have been minted with the statue of Hibernia in front of key phrases from the Proclamation.

The bank says the design has links to the GPO and its association with the Easter Rising.

The coins go on sale at 9.30 this morning.
