The EU is to announce a fresh package of sanctions against Russia over its involvement in the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

It's understood there'll be an announcement tomorrow, with measures including restrictions on state-owned Russian defence and energy companies.

It comes after the British Prime Minister David Cameron, the US President Barack Obama and other senior Nato leaders held talks with the Ukrainian president at the alliance summit in Wales.
