House sales are still increasing - with the number of transactions up 44 percent in the first two months of the year.
Asking prices also rose, by 2.2 percent nationally and 2.5 percent in Dublin, in the first quarter of 2015.
The average asking price for a house is now 198 thousand euro nationally, or 276 thousand in Dublin, according to the MyHome.ie Quarter 1 property report, in association with Davy.
