New laws to cap clamping rates should be introduced this September, as soon as politicians in Leinster House return from their summer break.
Fine Gael TD Noel Rock has assured the public that action will be taken on the Vehicle Clamping Act 2015.
This law would see a cap placed on the declamp fee of 100 euro.

Despite being signed into law by the President, the law has yet to be enacted by the Minister for Transport.
