The government's considering ways to prevent tenants in buy-to-let properties from being evicted by banks and receivers.

It's reported today that officials from the Departments of the Environment and Finance are discussing new laws in the area.

It would mean people in the property couldn't be evicted if they had no alternative accommodation.
