Campaign groups have welcomed a newly published bill that gives extra protection to victims of domestic violence.

The heads of bill published by the Justice Minister would make it easier to obtain emergency barring orders.

It will also prevent a domestic violence offender from communicating electronically with their victim.

But Margaret Martin of Women's Aid is disappointed that more hasn't been done to address violence during dating relationships:
