A petition to put Conor McGregor's face on the €1 coin has been deemed inadmissible.
It's been struck down by the Oireachtas petitions committee, which says it couldn't contact the person responsible for submitting it.
However it's urged anyone favouring the call to contact the Central Bank.
The UFC champion has himself backed the petition, tweeting his support and saying it would be a "huge honour".
Who would like 1 million of these great coins? Let's go Oireachtas! #VoteYES! pic.twitter.com/LAzzPLLDMG

However if the plan was to go ahead, Ireland would need to get the support of every other Euro member as the coin would be legal tender in those countries.
He responded by tweeting "Well f*** you, Deputy Stagg."
