No family affected by the Kerry mental health scandal have received their compensation from the state.

A review found 46 children suffered significant harm due to overmedication by a junior doctor in South Kerry CAMHS.

The state promised their families they'd get compensation four months ago - but they're still waiting.

In January when the report was released, the Taoiseach described the findings as "shocking" and he's called for an audit of all CAHMS services across the country.

Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae said, "I would be very fearful that all the machinery of the State, instead of going quickly and streamlined and rushed along.

"I believe they will delay in the releasing of the funding which is abundantly wrong to do so.

"They should be moving quicker."
