Luas services will not return in Dublin until tomorrow morning.
Operator Transdev has said Storm Ophelia damaged the roof on the Red Cow depot yesterday afternoon.
Both the Red and Green lines are expected to be operational from 5:30am tomorrow morning.

The section of roof that was damaged covers the 'technical rooms' in the depot - which contain a number of essential systems for Luas operation.
The roof is being repaired today - however the work is expected to last into the evening.
The operator said the rooms and systems are currently being assessed for damage and possible repairs - however, it is not possible for normal service to resume in the meantime.
The company has moved to thank customers for their "understanding and patience" while repairs are underway.
It has assured the public that it is working to "restore a safe tram service as early as possible" with customers urged to check for updates on the repairs via social media.
