Women's groups have been reacting to the news that Playboy is to stop featuring naked women.

The publication has announced it won't show nude models anymore because internet porn has made it passe and pointless.

Since its launch in 1953 many famous faces have graced the cover including Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss, Pamela Anderson, Dolly Parton, Goldie Hawn and Madonna.

The only Irish covergirl was former Miss World Rosanna Davison who was on the cover of the German edition in 2012.

But there could have been another.
