EU Finance ministers will meet later today to discuss Ireland repaying its IMF bailout loans early.
Yesterday Eurogroup Ministers unanimously supported the move, which will save the tax-payer hundreds of millions of euro.
Ireland wants to borrow more money at cheaper rates, and use that money to repay the more expensive IMF loans, raising the prospect of an easier Budget ahead.
