Last night the 71 year old Minister revealed he's been treated for cancer and he thanked staff at two Dublin hospitals -St Lukes in Rathgar and Cappagh in Finglas -for the care he received.
He's he'll stay on as Minister for Finance as long as the Taoiseach wants him there.
