Pat Hickey's trial for alleged ticket touting will begin in Rio in November.
It comes almost a full year after the former OCI President left Brazil after being charged in connection with allegations of ticket touting at the Olympic Games.
The judge has now set a date of November 29th for the trial in Rio.
Mr Hickey - who had initially been detained in Rio - was given permission to return to Ireland last Christmas on medical grounds upon payment of a bond worth over €400,000.
Mr Hickey has previously insisted he is "totally innocent of all these charges".
