Dara O Briain says he was misrepresented in an article which indicated he is against the BBC policy that bans all male comedy panels
The 'Mock The Week' host was reported this week as saying any female guest would be viewed as a "token woman".
He said women bring a different dynamic to panel shows and stop programmes from becoming "too boysy"
O'Briain is due to appear on the Jonanathon Ross Show this week.
Speaking to Ray D'Arcy this morning he said he is in favour of the policy which advocates mixed panels.. but he feels changes should have evolved naturally.
