Paul and Gary OÂ’'Donovan have said it was a complete shock to see the attention they'Â’ve received since returning home.

The Olympic silver medallists held a press conference this lunchtime where they discussed their win.

The pair will tour Skibbereen on an open-top bus this evening – after getting a warm welcome at Cork Airport last night.

Preparations are being finalised for a homecoming parade for the O’Donovan brothers in Skibbereen this evening.

The Olympic Silver medallists arrived in Cork last night to a heroes’ welcome, before making their way to West Cork.
