An Offaly mother says her son's life was saved by the quick thinking of the Irish Air Corps.
Six-year-old Gavin Chadwick became critically ill when he fell under a lawnmower last May.
He was flown by the emergency ambulance service to hospital within an hour for treatment.

His mum Yvonne says this saved his life.
"There's no doubt about it, there is no doubt about it because he was losing so much blood.
"He was getting paler and paler and weaker and weaker - and he was getting sleepy.
"Without the services we got that day, God only knows what would have happened to his leg - or to him".
