One Direction have broken their silence following rumours the band's planning to split up.

Niall Horan has tweeted they're NOT going their separate ways - but instead confirmed they ARE taking what he calls a "well earned break" at some point next year.

And Louis Tomlinson says "It's just a break, we're not going anywhere".

It's been reported the four singers want to focus on individual projects.
