It is understood Irish boxer Michael O'Reilly will appeal a drugs test result after he tested positive for a banned substance.
The Clonmel man was due to compete at the Olympics in Rio, with his first fight down for next week. However that is now in doubt following Thursday's ruling.
It is reported that O'Reilly has decided against having his B sample tested.
Instead he is expected to ask for an appeal hearing.
