A number of Irish organisations are being celebrated this afternoon for using Plain English.

The National Adult Literacy Agency is hosting the Plain English awards in Dublin recognising companies, groups and charities that communicate clearly without using complicated language or jargon.

NALA says it's particularly important to provide information in plain English for people with literacy difficulties.
