The man who killed 49 people in a Florida nightclub told a 911 operator: "I'm in Orlando and I did the shootings."
The FBI revealed that Omar Mateen spoke in Arabic when he talked to police call handlers after the massacre began.
Mateen started opening fire at Pulse gay nightclub at around 2.45am on Sunday 12 June.

Police updated media today saying Mateen was not directed by a terrorist organisation and was radicalised within the US.
However they say despite his claims in a 911 call that he had placed a bomb at the club no device has been found.
In the phone call to emergency services Mateen had pledged allegiance to Islamic State and the organisation had later claimed credit for the massacre.
