The biggest winner at the Oscars was the dark comedy, Birdman, which won best picture along with three other awards.

Grand Budapest Hotel also won four awards, in design and music categories.


But most people are talking about the rousing acceptance speech of actress Patricia Arquette, calling for equal rights for women.
