Overcrowded classrooms will be top of the discussions for teachers in County Clare today.

Despite government promises more than a decade ago to reduce class sizes, only one in ten primary school children are in a class less than thirty pupils.

Over 850 delegates will gather for the three day event hosted by the Irish National Teachers Organisation.
