Over half a million people were on hospital waiting lists last month, which is a new record high.
The latest figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund show that there's been an increase of 27-thousand - since last May - to 535-thousand.
439-thousand are outpatients, with more than 80-thousand waiting for over a year.
The HSE says 34 per cent of inpatients are waiting less than 3 months, while 88 per cent of all adult patients are treated within the national target of 15 months.
