Millions of files from the "Panama Papers" have been published online this evening.
The files, relating to thousands of off-shore companies, were leaked from the Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca.
Anyone in the world will now be able to search through the details of 200,000 companies, trusts and funds to see who's placed their wealth in tax havens.
The Revenue Commissioners have indicated they'll be studying the contents of the files.
The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists is behind the publication. The database is available on the group's website: www.icij.org
More than 300 economists have warned world leaders there is no economic justification for offshore accounts and are urging them to stop the practice.
