An Iranian cyclist has died following a crash at the Paralympics in Rio.

Bahman Golbarnezhad suffered a heart attack after coming off his bike in the men's C4-5 road race.

It is the first time an athlete has died during the games. 

The President of the International Paralympic Committee, Sir Philip Craven, says an ambulance arrived to treat him within two minutes:
