Pharmacists are urging parents to screen their kids for head lice as schools across the country re-open for the new term.
They say the return to school is often associated with a rise in cases among kids.
It's estimated around one in ten children suffer at any one time.
80 per cent of infestations are among those aged between four and sixteen.
