A video has emerged of a passenger on a United Airlines flight being forcibly removed before take-off at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago.
The airline says the flight to Kentucky was overbooked and one customer refused to leave the plane voluntarily.
Footage was posted on Twitter, of a man being pulled from his seat by security officers and dragged along the floor of the plane.
Other passengers were appalled at how the man was treated:
