Pat Hickey is reportedly on his way home from Brazil.

The former President of the Olympic Council of Ireland was pictured by the Irish Times boarding a flight last night.

The paper says he went through security at Rio’s international airport at 8.15pm local time.

The 71-year-old had been in Rio for four months awaiting trial for alleged ticket touting.

However a judge allowed him leave on medical grounds, after paying a 400-thousand Euro bail bond.
