Kerry GAA player Patrick Curtin has died following a car crash in Guatemala.

The 26 year old footballer from Moyvane had been treated in hospital in Miami, having been airlifted there before Christmas.

Mr Curtin had been working in Guatemala since September.

Kerry GAA has issued a statement extending its deepest sympathy to Mr Curtin's family.
