The Irish fashion chain Penneys is to open a new store in Boston in the US.
The move will see the retailer take on other discount brands like Forever 21 and Target.
Every day 1.5 million shoppers in Europe visit a Penneys store.
The US market is notoriously hard to break and the company is hoping to succeed where other brands like Tesco and Marks and Spencer have failed.
