A man in his 80's has been injured in a Dublin burglary.

Three armed men are reported to have entered a house at Kettle's Lane, Swords on Friday between three and four o'clock in the morning.

They demanded money and assaulted the home owner but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The men escaped with a small amount of cash.
