An effort by the British Labour Party to attract women voters in the General Election appears to have backfired after it was branded patronising.

The party has launched a lurid pink bus which will visit 70 constituencies, with what they have described as the first women's manifesto.

More than 9 million female voters did not turn out in the last UK election.

Labour’s deputy leader Harriet Harman defended what some are calling the "hen party" bus.

Harmon said the colour 'Magenta' was picked by a collective.

The leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg thinks Labour's idea is just weird.
