There has been criticism of a new plan to offer incentives to emigrants to return home.

It's thought the government is considering offering a special discounted tax rate of 30 per cent to entrepreneurs for up to 5 years.

However the plan has come in for severe criticism from people who stayed at home and payed higher taxes during the era of austerity.

Financial advisor Eddie Hobbs says the Budget plan to encourage emigrates to return won't 'fly' with the public.
