Plans for a 200 million euro expansion of Dublin Port have been lodged.
The development would see a 10 kilometre channel of River Liffey made deeper to allow for cruise ships and larger feight vessels to dock in the port.
Under the plans 10 hectares of land on Bull Island would be given to city.
If approved, the project could be completed by 2019 and 200 construction jobs.
