Police say an officer shot in southern Paris this morning has died, according to the AFP news agency, in the second shooting in the city in two days.
Two people were shot this morning by a man wearing a bullet proof vest and carrying a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
The second person is understood to be critical.
Police say they are not immediately linking the incident to yesterday terror attack.
