A new opinion poll shows a majority in favour of Justice Minister Alan Shatter resigning, or being removed from office.

The findings are contained in a Millward Brown survey in today's Sunday Independent.

The poll has Fine Gael support up two points to 29 percent, with Labour falling two to 6.

However, a Behaviour and Attitudes survey for the Sunday Times has Fine Gael dropping nine points to 21, and Labour unchanged at 9 percent.
