Exit polls suggest chocolate tycoon Petro Poroshenko has won Ukraine's presidential election.
The businesssman, known as the "chocolate king" ,won more than 50 per cent ot the vote.
The polls suggest former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko came second.
There were 18 candidates in the race.
The ballot went ahead despite weeks of fighting in the east of the country between government troops and pro-Russian insurgents.
