A post-mortem will be carried out today on the body of an Eastern European man who was fatally injured in an assault in Co Meath last week.
It's believed the 37-year-old victim was hurt during an incident at an apartment on Academy Square in Navan Town in the early hours of Friday morning.
He lost his fight for life in Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown in Dublin yesterday.
The results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
