Over 100 people are reported to have been killed after a powerful earthquake in a remote area of north-east Afghanistan.
Measuring 7-point-5, the tremor shook buildings and cut power in some areas.
There have been deaths in both Afghanistan and in neighbouring Pakistan.
Twelve schoolgirls who were trying to escape falling debris are thought to be among the dead.
