Maynooth University in Co Kildare has voted in favour of raising the Pride flag on campus despite receiving an anti-equality post card this morning.

The students union at the University described the post card - which compares supporters of gay marriage with people who've been convicted of sexual abuse and pedophilia - as sick.

It calls for a No vote in the same sex marriage referendum in May - it states that Jimmy Saville, Gary Glitter and Rolf Harris all propagated Homosexual marriage and it calls itself the 'No Way is Ireland Gay' campaign.
