A Co Clare priest says he forgives a man who broke into his house and stole 20 euro.

Fr Paddy Conway arrived home to find the man hiding in a wardrobe.

He says he persuaded the man to give back the money and he then drove him into Ennis.

Fr Conway says the man is struggling with addiction and the issue is now before the courts.

And he says he does not hold it against him.
