A group of 11 year olds from Monaghan have discovered that three of their classmates are legally blind in a project for the RDS Primary Science Fair.

Four thousand 500 primary school students from across the country are showcasing science projects at the event – being held to coincide with the Young Scientists Exhibition for secondary students.

180 projects are on show from primary school children over the next three days
