People in Co Sligo say the visit of Prince Charles to Mullaghmore is an 'important step' towards putting the past behind them.
The fishing village was the scene of the infamous bomb blast that killed the Prince's great-uncle Lord Mountbatten in 1979.
Charles - and his wife Camilla - will visit the site later this evening - and take part in a peace and reconciliation service.
These Sligo locals say it's a milestone day for the county.
