The Environment Minister has pledged more emergency accommodation for homeless people.
Alan Kelly says the government will ensure there is enough accommodation provided by Christmas so nobody will have to sleep rough - unless they want to.
An emergency summit on the crisis took place at the Department of the Environment in Dublin yesterday - following the death of homeless man Jonathan Corrie just metres from the Dáil earlier this week.

Meanwhile the Lord Mayor of Dublin has organised another meeting on homelessness at the Mansion House this afternoon.
Christy Burke says the Taoiseach and Archbishop will send representatives, while several charities will attend.
