The latest property figures from the C-S-O show an increase of 2.9 per cent in the price of the average home in October.
Properties are now worth an average of 16.3 per cent more than they were a year ago.
Apartments in Dublin have seen the biggest growth, rising by over a quarter.
But the growth is slower outside of Dublin, where prices are up by just over 8 per cent in the last year.
