The public expenditure minister has withdrawn controversial plans to change Ireland's laws on Freedom of Information.
Brendan Howlin says he understands concerns expressed by some groups that the changes could result in extra fees for some people.
The changes could have resulted in some people having to pay multiple fees for a single Freedom of Information request.
The minister says he'll now try to reword the changes so that it doesn't discourage people from asking for information:
