Hundreds have turned out in Dublin for a demonstration in support of anti-water charge protesters who are facing charges in connection with a protest in Tallaght last year.
Organisers say the charges against the protesters represent an attack on civil liberties in Ireland.
Other demonstrations in solidarity with the charged protesters are taking place in Sweden and the UK.
